They did. They added a second alternator (on the other side) to help power the incandescent lights. Polishing it wasn’t easy either.

This old Goldwing is barely a 1980 or so model. LED lights weren’t around back then.

Due to a lack of gauges on top of the "tank", it would be a '75-'77.
