Fella learned an expensive lesson lucky to be alive
Came across this link while poking around the internet. The ending might be a little tough to watch, but he did come out of it.

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

At first viewing, that motorcyclist was EXTREMELY LUCKY to survive that!!
However, looking at it a few more times, I'd suggest that probably the only reasons the rider did survive were that:
1. the relative speed between him & the truck he ran up the back of weren't any greater than they already were;
2. he was unconscious but still draped over the front of the bike effectively from the moment of impact, so he didn't try to recover/get out of the way/move unpredictably; and
3. the astonishing speed of reaction and the consummate driving skills of the Trucker who could've so easily just been a tad slower in reacting and so treated the rider & his bike like a speed bump, but instead maneuvered juuuust enough to the left to avoid turning the rider & bike into a smear of red tire-jam and crushed metal on the road, and by doing what he did but only what he did, almost avoided him, which certainly saved the riders life - and it looks like the Trucker did what he did without taking out the black truck &/or any other of the vehicles around them, avoiding any over-reaction that would've caused a much greater crash/jack-knifing or otherwise reacting in any way that likely would've written off ALL of the vehicles around them and some of the following vehicles too!
Kudos to that Trucker, and I'm so sorry that now he, the Trucker, hasta live the rest of his life with those images seared into his brain!
There's no point in that rider ever buying a Lottery Ticket again, cos he's clearly used up all HIS quota of 'Luck' &/or his cat's 9 lives and then some!!

Stupid hurts!! It makes me realize how lucky I have been over my many years of riding. Because I hate to admit it but I have been stupid in my younger years.
