Booked my Spyder's 28K Maintenance before winter sets in!
Well I have an appointment to take my Spyder in for its 28K maintenance next Thursday. The Tech said they would be doing an oil/filter job, coolant and brake check, belt adjustment, tire inspection, battery, and a few other things. I thought it would be a good idea to get it all done before winter weather sets in. The past week the temps have been perfect for riding but I suspect that will change fairly rapidly.

It's your Spyder and wallet, but were it mine I would verify with the tech if the "few other things" he mentioned include changing the HCM filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and canister pre-filter which are listed on pg 114 of your op guide as 28K service items. Those items that are listed as "(or every 5 years)" are which ever comes first, mileage or time jobs.
