Default Anyone done a Cat Delete leaving stock muffler on?

Has anyone done a cat delete with leaving the stock muffler on? I have seen people doing the delete who change the stock muffler for an aftermarket muffler, but they seem kinda loud. Not looking to drown out my radio, but just wake up the sound of the Spyder - 2022 F3 Ltd, a bit. Is it worth doing it and leaving the stock muffler? Thank you.

Agree 100%. Do it all the time for customers. They love it! So, unless you just like obnoxious. This is a great way to go.

I did mine a year ago and love it. I found mine had a little metallic sound, so I wrapped from the base of the exhaust manifold to the muffler with heat wrap. You can buy the wrap at any parts store.

I have done the stock muffler with Cat Delete on my past 2 F3Ts (2016 & 2017). Sounds great and not too loud for me.

The RLS was delivered last week. Will also be installing and keeping stock muffler. I believe this will be a good combo.

Ditto to all above. Plus, you get the benefit of less heat from the cat and some weight reduction.

Ditto all above, I've done both RLS and Baldwin Cat deletes with stock final exhaust. And I do recommend doing the Titanium Header Heat Wrap, I did mine from the front tuned pipe and the cat delete (skipping the springs area).

On my 2016, I had the lamonster cat delete and stock exhaust. It sounded MUCH better. I upgraded to a 2019 that came with RLS cat delete and RLS Punisher series. It is almost too loud.

I just did it. Pitched the baffle that came with the pipe and used Lamonster's "Can Opener" baffle instead. Not too loud, don't notice any difference in performance but now I don't smell burning rubber when I pull into the garage and the F3 is a few pounds lighter.
