Default Imported RS to Europe - any advice on getting CoC?

    Hello forum members.

I have imported my 2012 Spyder RS from the US to Europe (Netherlands).
Obviously, I don't have the Certification of Conformity (CoC) of the Spyder which contains the type-approval and is needed to register and get a license plate. I do have the Title though.
I have already reached out to BRP through facebook and they told me to ask the local dealership for this Certificate, but they told me because it is not built according to the European guidelines, they cannot issue a CoC. So both of them can't help me.
I replaced the headlight unit (high and low beam are now separate) but still no luck.

Does anybody know how I can get my hands on a CoC?
I hope somebody can put me in the right direction.

    Thank you.

Surely the Dutch import regulations have provisions to address this kind of situation, don't they? You can't be the first one to deal with this issue.

Yes they have. It's a full inspection which takes all day, it's 1 and half hour drive, need to leave my vehicle till next day and they ask 1750 euros for it.

Thank you but I already did and they can supply me an "Independent Certificate of Conformity" for my vehicle but because it is not an official document from BRP there is a possibility they will reject it. I already asked around.

I already found a way to register my vehicle. I will see how that goes.
    Thanks anyway.
