Spyder 2020 RTL side compartment latches not working - common? Fixes?

I'm having issues with the latches on the side compartments. I have to pull the latch hard while pushing in on the compartment to open them. Is this a common problem and is there a fix for it?

There is a tsb out on this. Take it to your dealer to fix. It would be best to take a copy of the tsb with you when you go.

Another option is to try to adjust the cables yourself and maybe lube them.

I broke the latch handle off of one of mine. When I took it apart, I found the plastic mechanism to be defective. Put a new cable on it at the same time. Works like butter now.
