 F4 Custom windshield - any idea of bracket bolt size/thread?
Hello all, I have bought and installed the f4 customs windshield on my F3. While riding around though, one of the black bolts that holds the crossbar fell out and went plink plink plink all the way to never finding it again. Anyways, I leave for a trip on Tuesday and need to replace it. Any idea what size and threading it is that I need? Should or could I even put ones in that are a tad longer? I could’ve sworn I had them in good and tight. Way is life though. 😔

Can u take the other one for comparison to Lowes/Home Depot or any good hardware and find a replacement? Most of these can size what you have.

I was looking through Lowe’s today, but they don’t have any black head ones in stainless. So if someone knew I was gonna try to order some on one or two day delivery from Amazon.

Since you are leaving on Tues. and may not find the bolts in black, just replace with the stainless and look for black on your trip. Ride Safe.

I resorted to doing that to cover the shiny chrome heads on the screws holding my RT's windscreen on after I'd changed out all the chrome fittings for black fittings and the correct coloured bolts weren't included with the new black parts!
