Default Is it OK my 2015 is missing channel stiffeners for sway bar?

I just swapped out my OEM seat bar for BajaRons Ultra. All the instructional videos and BajaRons instructions call to remove channel stiffeners then replace them. Mine does not have any, nor does it look like it ever had any ever. Is this something I should look into adding in, or am I fine without them?

BRP didn't put the frame channel stiffeners in until later. The 2015's didn't have them. You can add them if you like.

    Search is your friend: https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...=1#post1619233

9CLOUDED: here are the frame channel stiffener p/n (qty 2 each)

    https://www.canamseadooskidooparts.c...-screw-m6-x-20
    https://www.canamseadooskidooparts.c...c-nut-m6-x-1-0

If I understand BR correctly the 2014-2015 frames will require drilling two holes. This diagram shows the locations: https://www.canamseadooskidooparts.c...d775b777/frame (parts 5 and 7)

We have a 2016 RT and while installing an Ultra Swaybar yesterday I discovered we had no channel stiffeners. The part numbers shown for the stiffeners are what are in our Spyder. The bolt is 20mm (about 3/4”) and a 6mm nut. Not sure what they are there as they are only in one side of the two holes in the channel. Both sides of the channel are drilled, and a longer bolt and the tubes could be added but I can’t find the tubes on any year parts diagram.
Does anyone know the length and OD of the tubes?

i just got a stainless steel spacer/standoff in ~ the right length then added 1 flat washer to take up the last bit of room in the channel. Bolts with flange nylock nuts were from McMaster -Carr.
