Default Any videos showing 2020+ RT front trunk removal?

I'll just say it - I'm an idiot. I took a 3000 mile trip on my 2022 RT-L from Phoenix to Cody, WY and the radiators are full of deceased insect life and vegetation. I have purchased protective grills for the future, but would like to clean the radiators and grill areas really well before I install them. I haven't been able to find a video showing the process of removing the front trunk. Does anyone know if such a video exists? I can find videos for older models, but nothing for the current (2020+) model.

Here is a link to MartinTheVlogger

He is adding lights to the frunk and explains how to remove the area in question.

Wow, that's exactly what I was looking for. Couldn't find it on Youtube, didn't think to check Martin's site. Thanks a lot!

I used a combination of wet vac and hose to clean the radiators before I put on the radiator guards.
If you turn the handlebars to full stop, first one way and then the other, you can access the back of the radiator from the wheel well and reverse flush with a hose.

    Hi,

I have a need to remove the front trunk ("frunk") on my 2022 RTL. I thought I had seen a how-to video a few months back, but I can't find it now. Does anyone have a link to a video that shows how to remove the frunk on a 2020+ RT?

    Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

The link is in this thread from when you started asking this, back in August. You haven’t got the bugs out yet?

There is a video out there, I used a video on how to install the signature lights. There are 2 bolts to remove on the bottom and a few on the top, you will have to remove the cable that opens the Frunk - the whole front comes off. It was not hard; you just have to remember what screws go where. (There are quite a lot of screws!)

In Martins video he removes the frunk lid and latch assembly. I did not remove lid or latch assembly. You still have to remove cable. My 2021 is alittle easier than my 2011 was. Bruce
