We have been searching for the right sound/feel for our RT's, it has not been easy or inexpensive to say the least. I wanted a an Akrapovic but did not want to spend $1,300+ for one. We wanted to eliminate the primary pipe and reduce heat and drop 20 plus pounds.
Our first trial was an RLS cat delete and a Crusher muffler. We loved the tone at idle and going threw the gears, but the tone at or around 3k to 3.5k really caused an issue as we both suffer from tinnitus.
I decided to try a 2brothers Carbon muffler on mine while my wife decided to go back to a cat delete and stock muffler on her ride.
I ordered the 2 Brothers for my RT and randomly searched for a Akrapovic for mine. Well there was one listed on spyderlovers about the same time the 2brothers shipped, I've never had great timing!
Prior to the 2bros carbon shipping I ordered the reducer tip, which was never installed as the Akrapovic was on it's way to me.
Long Story. The search for the "right tone" has been expensive and time consuming.
My wife likes the RLS cat delete (no baffles) with stock muffler, I like the RLS cat delete (2 baffles) and Akrapovic muffler.
I have learned several valuable lessons during this search/exercise.
I am offering each component at 50% of what I paid and I will cover 50% of the actual shipping charge from 98282
