Default Need a replacement Fog Light switch - anyone else? What did you get?

I have a 2013 RT Limited and my fog light switch has gone bad, and a replacement isn't available through BRP. Has anyone else experienced this and what was your solution?

Suggestion: Read the switch and Google any names or numbers you see. Somebody made that switch and it wasn't Can Am. Some electrical outfit that makes switches by the million.

First, are you checking the lights with the engine running?

Yeah. The switch was part of the optional Fog Light kit and not in the parts system as a separate spare part. However, it DOES have a part number.

There's a few out there. For example...

The fog light kit supplier may also sell the switch. Never hurts to call.

Don't know about the older Spyders, but the switches on the newer ones (I have a '20) are made by Carling.

I bought a Carling switch when I added driving lights on the 2013 RT I had. The light and symbol may not have been the same as the OEM, but why would one care about that on a 10 year old machine?

Make sure the switch is 44mm long not 37mm if you are installing it in the with the factory switches. most switches were wide enough (22mm) but were too short and not able to lock in the opening
