Default Any way to prevent the windshield from automatically lowering on shut down?

Is there a way to prevent the windshield from automatically lowering when you turn the key off on a 2022RT Sea to Sky? I like to leave it set where I ride with it.

The answer is yes. And no.
I'm afraid you won't be able to easily achieve your goal. If you turn the bike off while holding the window switch, you can prevent the windshield from retracting. This will allow you to clean the windshield, or otherwise do any maintenance. Unfortunately, for you, the next time you start the Spyder, the normal cycle begins, unless you hit the window switch each time you turn the bike off.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Get it in where you like it & pull the fuse? Hopefully just operates the windshield, sorry really don’t know, if will stay in place or what.

When you set it to a set spot for you, will it come back up to that spot when you restart the bike?

Y'all are right, it does go back to where it was last time. I had not noticed that because I usually ride with it all the way up, and that's where it comes back to. That's all good. But the main reason , which I did not mention to start with, and I should have, is because I have a go pro type camera mounted on my side view mirror and when the windshield comes all the way down it hits the camera. So, what I'm really trying to do is to prevent the windshield from coming all the way down on shut down. I apologize for not asking it that way to start off. I guess, I could pull the fuse on it and try that, but I would rather use that as a last resort. I would still like to be able to adjust it while riding. When I mounted the camera, I did not even think about the windshield coming down. I guess what I really need to do is just move the camera over.

If I had this dilemma, I think I would find another way to mount the camera. That would probably be the most economical solution.

Shaw Smoks did a video about fuse or motor for the windshield and it controls other functions like the parking brake motor (IIRC)

Yes, I've come to the same conclusion. I was just hoping there was an easy way to stop it from automatically coming down at all....
