Here are a few pictures of Fort Ticonderoga. The soldier lying down reloading is taken from a soldiers' diary. A lot of early American history here. Had a great day. Route 22 from Whitehall NY to Ticonderoga is a great ride and very little traffic. Bruce

You aren't that far from Lake Placid and Whiteface Mtn. Great roads to get there too. Make it a day trip if you have time. You can thank me later.

If time allows, visit the Adirondack museum in Blue Mountain Lake. Lots of good displays and info about logging and other industries in the area.

Was at the museum 24 years ago. I just checked and they are, "temporarily closed". Yesterday we checked out Fort William. Then by 1:00pm it started raining. I just got up and it looks like it is going to be a good day to explore. Bruce

No, wife and I like to ride before or after big events. Do not like big crowds. Made it to Lancaster, NH today. Route 17 is a great ride in Vermont. Bruce
