Default Help please!!!! Where's the pin for brake res? 2021 RTL Oil change

So I am going out of my mind looking for the pin thats supposed to be holding the brake fluid reservoir on. I see a tab back there that looks like I hay need to pry it away then slip the reservoir up ... is that what i am looking for on this model?

I' appreciate any advice... Dudley is up on blocks with no oil.. need to wrap this up!

    TIA as always

I have a 2021 RT base and I was able to remove the cover for the oil filter and oil filter with removing the brake reservoir. I went to the right and behind the reservoir.

I never saw a pin on my 2015 F3S when I did the first oil change. I secured the reservoir with a wire tie.

It looks like a small black tube, honestly that's what it is. You need some needle nose pliers to get in there to remove it.

Also, I didn't put it back in and have never had an issue with the reservoir coming off on its own.

At some point in the 2020 + RT models where the brake fluid reservoir was moved forward over the oil filter they switched from a plastic tube holding the reservoir to its mount to a metal pin. The metal pin is easier to manipulate. If yours uses the plastic tube I suggest getting a longer piece, about 6", cutting the end at an angle, and removing and reinstalling it will be a breeze.

Alrighty. Thank you all. I got everything done. I was actually able to reach to the right of the reservoir and down to the oil filter housing. Worked great. Never had to move the darn thing at all.
