What Torque for 2022 RT Passenger Pegs?
Hello
So with the new RT, adjustments needed to be made. One was my wife wanted the pegs raised. Tonight, in my shed I took the first bolt out and it was just snug tightened. The second one was the same. I raised them up to where she wanted them, and I tightened them down pretty hard. I don’t have a torque wrench put I’m going to get one. Does anyone know how tight they should be?
Thanks
JD

Just use your head, look at what your tightening, is it in aluminum, did it have Loctite on it, snug, it up and don't take it 1/4 turn past stripped!!!

It is a black steel bolt and it goes into a steel plate . There was very little blue lock tight on it .
Thanks

I don't torque mine when I move them. Just tighten them up without over doing it.
Now if you just want to torque them it is 18 ft lbs + or - 3

I don't see the need to torque them down. They are not connected in any way to rotating mass, or engine/trans vibrations.
Ride safe; shiny side up, greasy side down.
