Trying to reset position for shifter to make it for more comfort. getting older (74) and the leg being back is getting to be a problem.

I have not heard of a shift extender for the 08 or 09 GS/RS. I had one of each and since they were new at the time, aftermarket farkles were hard to come by. I did put brake extenders on both of mine.
The 998's are no longer made, so that will also be an issue in finding what you are looking for. However, you may get lucky posting here.
