Today I installed my new Ultra Sway Bar that I ordered from Spyder Pops for my new 2023 RT Sea To Sky. The install took me some time, but it went well otherwise. I had to lift the front end of the Spyder to get it up to the 24 inch clearance that I needed to remove the OEM sway bar. The way I did this was, lift it with my Kioti tractor bucket loader with the fork lift attachment. I lowered the forks at ground level on the garage floor. I then drove the Spyder onto the forks to the front of the loader bucket where the fork lift bracket attaches to the bucket loader. I started the tractor and carefully lifted the Spyder keeping the forks slightly angled up so the Spyder would stay positioned to the front of the loader bucket. I made sure to lock the hydraulic control lever on the tractor and secured the loader bucket and the fork lift arms with jack stands. I also put wheels chocks on the rear tire for added safety. It looked a little scary at first, but it worked out very well. It sure made it easy to do the work needed under the Spyder to get the new sway bar installed. Once completed, I took the Spyder for a test ride and was very happy with the performance of the new Ultra Sway bar. It really is an improvement over the OEM sway bar for handling and control.

I will admit I was a little skeptical about the benefits of a new sway bar. I have a 22 F3L and often ride with a buddy that has a ‘15 RT. When he’s following me he remarks about how much less lean my bike seems to have compared to his. So I thought I had it pretty good.
But, after reading a lot of posts here, I decided to try the Ultra bar based on our 2-up usage (and the combined weight 😏 ). After just one day all I can say is WOW!
Somebody on here said this should be the first upgrade anyone makes.
Amen! It’ll be some of the best money you’ll spend.

Reason: Moved Post title into text after merge - many only see Thread titles, and post titles mess with Searching! ;-)
