Default What's the right process for Programing Pedal Box?

Finally going to install my Pedal Box.
In the instructions it tells you to turn the throttle once.
Now it seems that all the videos do it more than that.
    Is there's a right process?
Also when the bike has to go to sleep in the winter should you disconnect it or is all good?

Take a look at LaMonster's video, it's very helpful and straight forward.

You can do it more than once but more than once not needed. Just be sure the last one you do is full rotation. Just did mine a few days ago with 2 full twists...no problems.

And no need to disconnect for winter storage.

What really is the advantage of having this other than a little quicker throttle response?

Nothing, that's all you get is quicker throttle response.

I thought throttle response on my 2015 RT was terrible and when I rode a couple of other Spyders theirs wasn't any better. I have had three other bikes with ride by wire technology and all of them were far better than my Spyder. The Pedal Box makes my throttle respond in the way it should have to begin with. As I stated before if there was an issue with braking response we would be throwing a fit. I like the box, but I hate that I had to spend the money to make the RT work the way it should have to begin with. My Moto Guzzi which is a bit " agricultural" if you get my meaning responds better than my Spyder does. Better throttle response makes for a smoother ride especially in the twisties where you are on and off the throttle a good bit. My wife who has never had her own bike, but has spent 40+ years riding with me said the Spyder sucked in the twisties. She gave the Box two big thumbs up after our first run in the twisties with the Box. Options and the freedom to take em or leave em. That's what makes America great.
