2022 RTL - Exhaust Bolt Rubbing On Swingarm! Anyone else notice the same?
Hey guys, just gave the Spyder a bath and noticed these scratches on the swingarm from the exhaust bolt !! Everything seems tight. Has this happened to anyone else ?
2022 RTL only 2k miles
The pics loaded sideways, Can a Mod change it for me, "Thankz" ... There, maybe now...
Yup, poor assembly; should be covered by warranty. If you don't want to wait for your dealer to correct it, you can remove the bolt, grind 1/16", or so, off the end and put it back in. If you choose to do it yourself, make sure you prop up the end of the muffler; it is cantilevered on that bolt!

Rick, the bolt is in backwards. Nice catch. Just checked this on our 23. The head end goes towards the swing-arm. Remove the bolt, turn it around and leave off the washer from underneath the head and it should clear. (Corrected this below) A little black touch-up paint and you'll be as good as new.

One more thing, Rick. I noticed a little nick in my swing arm this morning. Turns out that the bolt is a flange head bolt. There’s no washer underneath the head that can come off, and that larger silver washer needs to remain on, in order to support that rubber bushing correctly. Quick fix was to grind off about 1mm of the head. It clears. Long term probably replace it with a lower profile bolt. Just wanted to correct that.

Thanks for the help, It seems where the exhaust connects to that support, There is plenty of tolerance to move a good bit. If you grab your exhaust and try moving back and forth with force, you will see what I mean. Seems as if that support arm " sub frame " needs more support to keep the muffler stable and not hitting the swingarm.
