Default Ultimate Trailer OHT3 with air ride Compressor issues - ideas?

My friend Therese just got back from Colorado with her new trailer for her Spyder. They played around with the air ride switch before she left.

It would not raise on its on-board compressor when she got back here to Arizona. Another friend adjusted the micro switch, so it raises and shuts off the compressor.

What we are seeing while checking it out is that if it is plugged in and receiving power from the Tow Vehicle, when you dump the air to lower it the compressor continues to run, unless you unplug from the TV or turn off the lights. Is this normal???

After studying it and thinking about it, it appears that this may be normal operation, so that if air leaks off a little on the road, then the compressor will put more air back into the bags.

Could any of those that own these trailers please chime in?

    Thanks Chris

I have an ultimate trailer from 2015. Yes it is perfectly normal. It is designed to ensure you have air going to the shocks if any should leak out while towing. You simply unhook the electrical connection from the tow vehicle before you lower the trailer to the ground. Enjoy your new trailer. It is the best one I have found and I have used a few others. Be Happy
