Try this Paint protection from bug and road gunk!
I'm sorry to say I can't remember who recommended REJEX a reactive chemical coating but I got some on Amazon on sale. Gave it a try and OMG is it slippery after application. Easy to apply and is safe for all plastics.
You really should try this stuff, suspect that you will never go back to time consuming and labor intensive waxes again.

Following this closely. Used it some years ago, as I recall it was a bit difficult to buff out. Could be they improved the formula. I have an open mind on using it again.

Don't know about changes but buffs out easily. I do all of the front and then go back and buff out, then one full side and buff and then complete the other side and you be done. Great paint luster and slippery stuff. FWIW YRMV

It would work just fine. Any of the modern ceramics, graphenes or polymers will. This product is a polymer.
