Anyone heard any Rumors on 2024 Spyders, All models?

Was at my dealership today. They were having an electrical plug-in installed. 2 wheel electric bike about this time next year, and probably firstly an electric Ryker, followed by an electric F3. This was according to dealer

Can't/won't speak to that but if you look at all of BRP's social media it's ALL about the Ryker and EV motorcycles. That is where their marketing is at. Sadly, the Spyder seems to be on their back burner.

I think that they (BRP) will start with the Electric Ryker, then the F3 models, then the RT models. So I am guessing that the Electric RT models will be in 2026!

Usually around August the 2024 spyder line-up will be announced.

I am hoping some sort of shade of orange will be introduced( they had the Cognac in 2014, then in 2019 They introduced the Phoenix Orange Metallic).

I don’t think that BRP is going anywhere with an electric powered motorcycle. If they did it would not have any range of travel. The added weight of the battery pack would certainly need an upgrade past the current Kenda tires. The design upgrade since 2020 is still fresh. We lost the chrome package in 2023 on the RT Limiteds so I don’t see that coming back any time soon. I don’t think that there will be any changes made other than possibly different colors, wheels or seat stitching. Spyder owners don’t seem to be trading up too often if their mileage is low.

Not a Spyder owner yet but as an owner of 2 electric cars (Bolt & Tesla) and an electric motorcycle (Energica Ribelle) here are my thoughts on any potential electric Spyder/Ryker:

• Given the size of the engine in the Ryker, if it were replaced with a battery and motor, it would likely become a city only vehicle. Likely range on par with the 13kw Energica motorcycles due to weight, rolling resistance, and aerodynamics (or lack thereof).
• An electric Spyder might get enough range to make it comparable to Energica’s 21kw bikes but probably at the expense of storage space.
• In both cases, I doubt battery only Spyder/Rykers would ever be capable of touring without a revolutionary advancement in battery technology. Maybe when solid state batteries become feasible but definitely not before.
• I think we would see some kind of hybrid Spyder before we see a pure battery Spyder if touring remains the focus for such a model.

Again, just my personal opinion.

I am thinking they will stay with the gas option. But I was wondering if there would be a redesign, or at least an update on the F3 series platform. They have looked the same since the introduction in 2015. The exterior features on the RT model went unchanged from 2010-2019, but I was wondering if there would be some cosmetic updates.

They are currently hyping their new 2 wheeled EV motorcycles. Not sure of what tire manufacturer they are using.

Maybe its just me, but color was not an important factor in deciding to buy a new Sypder. I have a 2021 RT in that odd blue color. It seems nice enough, but I bought it because it was the only RT on the showroom floor (I decided I didn't want to spend the extra $4K for the RTL). There's actually not too much that I would like to see differently on a new Spyder other than something better than the BRP software, and a redesigned gas tank that allowed for an easier fill up. Maybe an engine that takes 87 octane instead of 91. A built in TPMS system would be nice, but adding the FOBO2 caps was easy enough.

1. There is the possibility of an electric powered Spyder. No specifics on what models were mentioned.
2. There may be a diesel powered Spyder available in 2024. Again no specifics on models.
