Default Any ideas on my 2011 Spyder RT Fluid Leak??

When my Spyder starts up it has a fluid leak, and when at idle it still leaks?!?

When it's revved and back to idle it still leaks???

    Anyone have any ideas??

Is it an oil leak (darkish & oily coloured, slippery/oily to the touch); a coolant leak (Fluro orange, yellow, green, or maybe even blue); gas (often almost clear as a leak, but it has a distinctive smell! ); or a brake fluid leak (thinner & lighter than an oil leak, but very likely still darkish, unless it's been changed recently)??

You should also try to identify where it's coming from, as that will make a difference. A couple of sheets of white-ish paper under the bike while it stands &/or runs for a bit should help narrow it down a bit, but you're going to hafta remove the flat tray thingies underneath & take the tupperware off the sides eventually, so do it now & have a bit of a look.

Over to you for more info....

Have you got down and had a look above where the coolant is on the ground?

May be a good starting point to look at to see where its coming from?

Over to you to step out in to the wild side and have a look.
