February Special--AR Travelers F3L's For Sale. Price Reduced Big Time

For February 2023 I am reducing the price on each. 2020- Save $2000.00 / 2019- Save $1500.00

I am selling both of the F3L's because it is becoming more difficult for me to drive them over 50 miles at a time. I will be 77 in a couple months, and it is time for ME to hang up the motorcycling part of my life.

It is my intention to stay on as a moderator for as long as they will have me. I do know enough about the product to keep things interesting.

Now: the information about the two Spyders I have for sale. First, I will say no trades. Second, I want cash, or a cashier check from a bank.

You have at least a month before the weather will turn here in Arkansas. I can store one or both over the winter if you need. But...they must be paid for in advance. Not holding with a deposit.

The Bikes:
2019 F3L-Chrome version. Current mileage 20816. Maybe a few more miles to come.

Tires are new K9's. Rear was installed at 14K miles. Fronts were installed at 19K miles.

$1K worth of lights. Including: Driving lights, Signature light, Spyderpops lighted bumpskid...yes, they all work. There are mirror LED's, vent LED's, trunk LED's, Look at Spyderpops or Lamonster garage ad's to see better pictures than I could ever do.

A chrome trunk rack.
A set of four, Hopnel bags. One for each storage compartment.
The oversized brake pedal.
A cannonball seat
Set up with "short reach" handle bars. Still have the OEM's which I also will include.

My price on this one: $19,000 for February 2023 only This one is Phoenix Orange...the lighter orange.

I sold two of mine on Cycle Trader with minimal problems and the third was sold through a dealer on consignment for more than I paid for it used from a private seller on here. I advertised all three on here with not much interest or inquiries. People here know what they're worth to them, which is usually a lot less than the outside world.

NO You are doing the right things
but you need to carefully consider advertising in your local area.
Spyder Forum people know what they want.
Sometimes this makes it difficult to find buyers.
I have tried to sell on this Forum.
Most of the time it just doesn't work out.

My Tip: Check out other markets.

I advertised all three on here with not much interest or inquiries. People here know what they're worth to them, which is usually a lot less than the outside world.

Back in March of 2021 I was beginning to look at a Spyder to purchase. I did not know of this site or any others like it to see what might be for sale. If I recall correctly I found my F3 limited on Cycle Trader which was being sold through a motorcycle shop on consignment. Most Spyders I was seeing were 500-1000 miles away and I didn't know what I was looking for yet, so I didn't want to travel that far. Well through the ad I saw it turned out this F3 was only about 20 miles away! The man that owned it was selling it due to health reasons and it only had 500 miles on it and I purchased it. I say all this to say don't be afraid of advertising it on others sites like craig's list, facebook market place or even the newspaper. You just have to connect with the one person who is interested in purchasing your Spyder. Good luck to locating that one person who wants your spyder more than you do

I bought mine off of Cycle Trader years back. I am looking to upgrade to a 2020+. Like was said earlier, most folks here know exactly what they want and exactly what they are willing to pay. I have not found anything that meets my specs on this site yet….but I continue to look. Try Cycle Trader - I bought mine on there and it was a good experience.

PS. If you are one of those who are snow bound...no problem. I will keep them parked in my nice warm garage where they have lived their whole lives. If you can make it here, test drives are possible because there is no snow on the roads and the grass is going green.

Your price is good, but timing is bad. I am seeing more out there for sale now that inventory of new ones is getting better. Last year people were selling 2020+ RT and RTL for more than they gave for them new. Now it is easy to find one in the $25k or less range. When it comes to selling, it is just like buying, patience is the key. Good luck on your sale and i will send anyone I know your way. Sounds like they were taken care of.
