Default Four Year's on - Ryker owner's report

I bought my 2019 Ryker 900 ACE 4 years ago today, 1 Feb 2019. This is a summary of my experience so far:

    current milage 15,096
First oil change, dealer, 5000.0 mi.
Second oil change, home, 10,000.0 mi.
Third oil change, home, 15,000.0 mi. No oil added between changes.

Fuel - 91 oct. only as recommended in the manual. Average mileage 36-39 mpg, tank after tank. I didn't buy it for milage, didn't care what it would be but pleased with the milage I get. I ride in ECON mode only.

Original tires, shocks, battery, sway bar, foot pegs, hand grips, CVT belt. Have no message that belt needs replacing.

Only two dealer visits, once for first oil change, second for wheel nuts recall.

Accessories: Max Mount, Sport windshield, handguards w/wind deflectors, top box, saddle bag (used once on overnight trip), dual horns, sequential front fender LED turn signals (a must for visibility but a bitch to install!), reverse shifter, sport handlebar, steel front bumper, Rallye radiator screen, Comfort Seat, air pocket seat pad (Amazon).

Now about me. 78 years old, had to give up two wheels due to chronic nerve damage left leg. I ride for pleasure, prefer two lane back roads where speeds rarely exceed 55. Average ride 50 to 150 miles. I do ride Interstates (I-40 , I-25 ) and ride at 75-85 mph with no problems. I may come across as an old fuddy-duddy but I get froggy now and then. But, have other toys for that. The Ryker is not alone in the garage!IMG_1310.jpg

Really appreciate the information about the tires and CVT belt life. Was wondering about both.

Interesting how you do not use luggage and I have two saddlebags and the top box. Use them often for clothes, rain suits, groceries and things after shopping plus tools and other items I use.

Nice report, thanks. Surprised about the CVT belt.

Nice toys fellow senior citizen. Enjoy them as often and as long as you can. I'll be 78 next week and I still enjoy all my toys, though I may have a few too many. Front and center are my 2015 RT-S, 2012 Stage 3 Fiat 500 Abarth, and 1974 Triumph TR-6. I may not have the most toys when I die, but I'll have a few.
2015 Spyder RT-S (Arion) and 2021 RTL Sea to Sky (charming wife)
    2012 2012 RT-L and 3015 RT-S , 2012 - red and 2015 black (way too black)

As little as it costs per tank, I'll stick to 91. It never hurts to follow the mfg. suggestions when it costs so little. The hot rod likes 91 too!

I had an MGA and a Datsun 1600 back in the day, used to slalom in SCCA events, F Production. I have driven the coupe to Pueblo, CO, and Pinetop, AZ, last year, hope to do more traveling this year.100_7908.jpg
