Any ideas on where to put a better antenna for CB Radio?
I have a 2018 RT Ltd and I am looking at getting a midland 75-822 CB radio. Any ideas on where to put a better antenna?

I found this one gives me a better signal. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07PF...b_b_asin_title
I’ve seen one clamped to a passenger hand rail.
I’ve thought about a magnetic one on a trunk rack.
Not sure if you could use a Goldwing antenna but it requires mounting to the side of the trunk. Drilling two big holes in it.

As a semi-retired truck driver, I liked to use Francis antennas which are inexpensive and available at any truck stop. The longer the better, but it catches more wind.Mounting it might take more ingenuity.

I'll see where I can mount it. Any thoughts?

Do you have a luggage rack on the trunk? That would probably be my 1st choice. I don't know about you, but I cringe at drilling holes in my ryde.

If you are not real concerned with the look, I mounted a Firestick antenna on the front upper A arm on my 2019 F3L with the quick disconnect base. I used a stainless steel pipe clamp with a rubber insert in it from Amazon, and I only put the antenna on when I was taking a trip, otherwise around town it was off the bike.
