Default Lifting my Spyder on a Bend Pac

I'm lucky enough to own a Bend Pac lift, As I own several vintage cars and do all my own work. Already had the idea, but also saw a video of LaMonster doing work on his lift and noticed he had a nice center support that was obviously custom made for the rear wheel on his lift. Bend Pac's have a nice channel that accommodates a traveling air jack that is the perfect support area. I choose a less expensive option and used a sheet of 1/4" aluminum that I already had and added a couple of 2X8's for support. Plenty strong enough. I did have the need to add a center loading ramp and I needed some added space to clear the plastic skid plate on the ride using the stock ramps. Had the wife keeping an eye on things the first time using it and went up and down without a hitch. Much easier doing basic maintenance as I don't do well crawling around on my back any more.

Nice solution to use it for the Spyder. It’s nice that you live where the weather permits an outside lift.

Boy, that is sweet. And when you use something built with sweat equity , it is so satisfying. Kudos, pal!

Mine is 30", but only because I happen to have it laying around from a different project. The 2X's under it for support was a must
