Watch for Wires rubbing against frame getting cut!
I have a 2020 RTL and pulled the panel above the Frunk and below the windshield. I am going to install an additional light power distro block and wanted to have a look at where it will sit. I pulled the panel and found two wire harness connectors. The black one was sitting vertically; the wires were sitting against a metal bracket. I reached in and ran my finger along the edge. It felt sharp enough to cut skin. Closely examined the wires and discovered they are starting to be compromised. The white/green was the closest to being shorted on the frame. Do yourself a favor and pull the Tupperware and have a look. I added some foam in the event the harness wiggles its way back.

Is it that black panel where the coolant and buds access is ?

Yes, just pull the panel and there should be two harnesses on the Left-hand side. One white and one black.
About a month ago I found a bullet connector separating due to another wire bundle pressing down on the connectors. That connection is behind the first pull off panel. I created YouTube videos of what I found. I am NOT advertising the channel. I put them up so others can check their machines and prevent a visit from roadside assistance.

Bought it brand new from the dealer, 62 miles on it. I was a little surprised by them too. I will be taking a lot of Tupperware off soon. Going to install saddle bag lights, rear lights on front fenders both going to a power distribution module. I plan on tracing out what the connectors are for.
