Default Installed my 2022 RTL Passenger Floorboard LED's!

I just thought I'd throw up some pictures of my new passenger floorboard led's that were installed today. They retail at $199.99 USD. I got 15% off from my dealer and paid one hour labor at $100 per hour so I got them installed for $270 + tax. They are definitely bright and really add to the driver floorboard led's I had installed before the Spyder was delivered last spring. I have been waiting for several months for these to come in. They are the first pair my dealer got in stock. I think they look great and definitely add to the 'be seen' factor of my Spyder. I have all of the factory option led's installed up front and also the A arm led's sold by Slingmods. This sucker is 'lit up'! If you already have the driver led's installed, I would definitely recommend adding these to complete the look. Sorry for the camera glare but I just couldn't get rid of it in the pictures.

They look great. I'll be installing my passenger floorboard led lights in the spring.

But they're not legal for on-road use anywhere in Oz cos they're so bright and cos we can only have white lights shining forwards Any side-lights used whilst driving on road must be Orange if visible from the front, Red if visible from the rear... And any visible from the side aux/added white lights cannot be operable by the driver/from the cabin/riding position, not even via a switch, if fitted to a road-going vehicle either!

Yeah, True dat! It's just that here in Oz, we've got sooo many Design Rules, State & Federal Laws, & Regulations at every bleedin' level about what we can & can't do to/on our vehicles!

    Default Nice Lights

...They look good. Just curious if this messes with on coming vehicles.
I find that bright white lights are sometimes a distraction. It is one of the major reasons I stopped riding after sunset.

I guess it must be I'm getting to old.

They really can't be seen from the front by oncoming traffic. But they sure can from the side. Are they distracting? I sure hope so. That is sort of the point!

I think they look great on the Spyder. Your Spyder is really lite up now. Really adds to the overall look .

First post here, so far I have learned a lot from other riders, much appreciated! I have my BRP passenger floorboard lights coming in from AZ (I live in New Braunfels TX) as there is apparently a massive shortage worldwide. I like the look of both sets of lights on the RT and I already installed the driver lights. Did anyone install the passenger version themselves. I ask because after looking at the installation instructions, it states to drill a hole through the plastic just below the pegs. In doing so, you really cannot move the pegs unless the grommet is sort of "loose". Can anyone verify if there is any play in the provided grommet or will the floorboard be semi-permanently fixed to whatever position it is in during installation?

Welcome new member. I just went out to the garage to get you a picture. There is plenty of play to move your boards up or down wherever you want them.

Exactly what I needed to know FrogmanDave!! Much appreciated and thank-you for the welcome. I now know how to position the lights when they arrive. The rider lights went on pretty easy, hopefully the passenger lights will just as easy.

The wiring goes to the same place as the driver floorboards. This is because you can install them without the need to have the driver floorboards led's installed.

    Here are the instructions https://brp.my.salesforce-sites.com/...rans(en|en_US)

I am really glad I paid my dealer 1 hour labor to install them. I would have been crawling around on the garage floor for many hours to take everything apart and put it back together.
