I was surprised that the second AI answer says "I am an AI trained..." How do you train a machine?

Am I the only one that understands the work "artificial" means man-made, lacking in natural qualities, contrived, imitation, and sham? And synonyms like phoney, fake and bogus are used as substitutes?

At my age, I'm sure my intelligence is lacking a little, but it's mine and I'll take it over any imitations.
