    I think the last time I celebrated the new year coming in local time was Y2K. Since then, I watch the celebration as it happens on the east coast and then go to bed at my normal time! A small benefit for living in the west! Have a safe, healthy, and happy new year! ..... Jim

    ..... I have always avoided N Y celebrating, .... my Dad ( who had been a Cop ) told me that it was " amatures " night out. .... I joined the force at 21, and worked Every New Years - mostly on a Horse in Times Square ..... Lordy those drunken " Hot " woman loved my Horse...... Mike
