My current ride is a 2011 RT - is the 1330 that much better?

As a former 998 rider (RS) and current F3S rider, a resoundingly yes! in just about everything. Better fuel mileage, better performance, better comfort, better handling. Whereas I tolerated the quirks on the RS, I love the F3S!

No the performance is not better with the 1330. What you get with the 1330 is lower RPM, better gas milage and longer between oil changes. Now if you talk between 2011 RT and now 2022 RT there are many other things that have improved a lot; but engine performance is about the same, i.e., top end speed and how fast you get there. Just my opinion.

Personally I like my 2018 digital dash a lot better than the 2017- Spyders. I think about getting a new one, however I am quite happy with the 2018. So I put new wheels and tires on it, and kept the 2018 chrome wheels and Federal Formoza tires just incase I do decide to get a next generation Spyder.
