Interesting. I just finished watching A Christmas Story. Have to do it at least once a year. I am of that era and those cars, houses, the Christmas celebration scenes all bring back some fond memories. I actually had a couple tears this go around.

Foggy and cooler today. Another cold spell heading our way and severe storms predicted by Tuesday. They are predicting possibility of tornadoes in the area. Hope they are wrong on that one.

And I may need 2 snowblowers----- At least 18" of snow last night and it's snowing now. We are buried-----------Some drifts are over 2.5 FEET. Feels like the winters of old....

It's partly cloudy (partly sunny) here in the desert S.W. It was supposed to be a rainy day today, but the rain passed through during the night. Now it's just a little breezy (9 MPH) and cool with a humidity of 71%. The high will only get to 56. Low overnight will be 39. That "Global Warming" thing isn't happening here. We've been 5-10 degrees below normal for the past couple of weeks. One of the 3 groups I ride with won't meet if the morning temperature is below 50 degrees. A bunch of old wusses! Thankfully my Thursday riding group will bundle up and ride in most weather. Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Central Utah it has been snowing off and on all day. Cynthia ( she wanted to do it) cleaned the dtiveway once and I can see it will need it again soon. No let up for the next day or so. Probably no getting the Spyder out of the trailer until next spring.

Still cloudy & dank here in the Adelaide Hills of South Oz; not quite raining right now, but it was just a few minutes ago, & probably will be again before too long... Temps are getting well into single digits (°C) most nights, and daytime temps that are barely reaching the high teens seems to still be the general forecast!

But we have had a little bit more of these short breaks in the constant rain over the last few days, even had one day that was sunny & warm late last week, the daytime temp reached about 37° C (not quite 100°F) but that was just while the Antarctic Winds that've been keeping us cold'n wet were taking a bit of a breather!!

There was even snow down to about 500m in the Snowies & Alpine areas of the South Eastern States early on last week, with snow at sea level in Tasmania, and we're almost a fortnight into what should be our Summer!! Mind you, there's usually a good snow fall or two in the mountains between Christmas & New Year, but it rarely stays on the ground for too long; only this year, they might even still be ski-ing then!!

Going to enjoy some John Wayne movies. The wife is taking about making a big batch of her 'Christmas Cookies'. You must remember the 'days'. So I will enjoy the Cookies and of course the popcorn.

The desert S.W. continues to be cool. Today's high will be 52 and the overnight low will be 38. Well below our normal averages of 66 and 40! It's partly sunny/cloudy and the humidity is 76%. The wind is calm. The higher elevations around the valley are all getting snow. Some are seeing quite a lot of accumulation. I just made a pot of decaf coffee. I mix it in a very big cup with a good squirt of chocolate syrup and a shot of peppermint schnapps. Really helps to warm my old bones on a cold wintery day. Stay safe..... Jim

Still no snow in the forecast for today. Hopefully all you Sled people will get the snow you need for your fun. Snow for me is fun to watch but a real problem to drive. Just don't enjoy all the crazy drivers out there.

...Still no snow in the forecast for Indiana. Currently 37°F and wet. Yesterday was a very rainy day. I received over one inch of rain. Going to lay back and just enjoy the Day. Oh yeah, I need to pay a couple of bills.
The electric bill was way to high. Good Luck on all these EVs and there so called savings.

Gasoline prices are under $3 here. EV charger prices have jumped up. I am being told $80 to $100 for a full charge.

Sunny and 55 degrees for a high here in the desert S.W. We continue to be about 10 degrees below our seasonal average. The overnight lows are near freezing. There are no clouds or wind. Humidity is at 56%. I heat the house, water, and cook with gas. That price has gone way up. My November cost was near $90.00. Because of the cool weather, I expect December to be around $100.00. Guess I should feel fortunate. Those using electricity have much higher costs. Stay safe..... Jim

It's C.....C.....C.....Cold here. Feels like about 20 even though the thermometer says 35ish. We are headed for another cold snap. The Siberian Express is on the way. Weather channel said headed for the coldest Christmas in many years.

I don't think I will be riding for a while. I have become spoiled.

Nice day here in South Oz today, temps in the mid 30's °C, sunny & clear with it too, but there was a fairly strong wind & there was a Gale Force Wind Warning posted, even if we didn't get too much beyond the 'strong wind' level today!

BUT, far more importantly, the forecast today is that this little spurt of Summer Weather (Finally! ) is gonna stick around for a while, maybe even last for another few days aaaand - we might even see the temp hit 35°C on Monday!

So it's a late start to Summer, but it's finally looking like we might get one here, even if the temps do drop back into the mid 20's thru the coming week. However, it does look like Sunday & Monday next week will be back in the mid 30's (°C) for Christmas & we can finally start drying things out a bit! Yeah, I know, I know.... we'll probably be griping about the lack of rain in just a few months.....

Still, here's wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Great Start to the New Year, and with any luck maybe we can extend juuust a little Peace & Goodwill to all mankind too, extra'specially for all those in the troubled & war torn parts of the World?!

Still waiting for some real snow, you know it's the season for the 'white stuff'. I was hoping for a little snow dusting for Christmas and that is iffy for my local area.

Well I posted a heavy snow prediction two days ago ..... We got walloped - I had 16 inches of VERY wet snow, it was a *itch to sno-blow, and I have a very good large Ariens w/ fuel injection. .... Normally dry snow will go 50+ ft. - today maybe 25 ft. ..... Mike
