Default 22 RTL how do I remove the panel below headlights?

Hey guys, I was wondering how to remove the black lower panel under the headlights on my 22 RTL, I want to clean the bugs off that area and would be easier removed. I believe its the access panel to the coolant bottle is what I'm referring to.

Open your frunk to get to it. It easily pulls off and snaps back on.

Along with QuickDraws comment above, the panel has a small protrusion each side that sits under the body panel, Rick. You need to bend the panel out slightly to free one of the protrusions from one side, and it will pop out.

Is it on bottom or top of panel and do you lift up or to the side?

Sorry Dean….I have just got up out here
It protrudes slightly out each end. Grab the panel in the middle and pull toward you, while you push the side edge of the panel inwards. That should enable you to see the small protrusion and allow one side to pop out. I’d post a photo, but I’m not home at the moment.
