Woke up to one inch of the white stuff. That's snow!!

By 3:30 PM it has all melted away. Nice to see the greens again.

For those who are keeping score...this is the earliest it has snowed since we moved here in May 2019. This will be our fourth winter.

....Well today my local area received over 2" of snow. Currently 30°F and dark sky. It was a very wet snow but pretty to look at on the ground. This is the first snow of the season.

Today's numbers are 32°F and 24°F.
Maybe get some more snow showers on
Sunday.

Sunday's high 40°F with some sunshine, low of 19°F.

Stepped out on the porch after supper.
The ground was white.
Went back inside and closed the door and the drapes.
I think bears have the right idea.

High today in the desert S.W. will be 66. Low overnight will get down to 40. There is no wind and there are no clouds. Later in the week we will get back to our seasonable highs of just over 70 degrees. Stay safe..... Jim

...Well another Monday and Sunshine, currently 41°F.
I received over 2.5 inches of snow. Now most of it has melted away. It was a pretty snow and glad we had what we got.

Today it's 41°F with some clouds, low of 29°F.
Calling for some snow showers tonight and tomorrow morning.

Unseasonably cool here - high of 64 and low of 37. No precipitation, but we are in a severe drought. Did get some rain last week for the first time in months.

Trust me, that is not a complaint, it is great riding weather. I’d much rather put on a jacket than be too hot.

Thanksgiving is only 8 days away. I hope you have your plans in place. I noticed that the Food Prices have jumped up a wee bit from last year.

Say Mike, Don't know about you but I'll ski till I can't. There is a guy at Mt. Rose who is well into his 80's. He is slow but SMILING.....

Currently 65 degrees here in the desert S.W. Heading for a high of 72 today. The overnight low will be in the mid-40s. Humidity is 18%. The wind is calm and there are no clouds. Like a lot of the country, it is unseasonably cool. We're checking in at about 5 degrees below normal. Still, not bad. I have ribs doing a slow cook in the oven. I turned the furnace off and am using the residual oven heat to keep the house warm and comfortable (and smelling good). After 3-4 hours in the oven, the ribs will get finished off on the BBQ. Yummmm!! Stay safe..... Jim

Say Mike, Don't know about you but I'll ski till I can't. There is a guy at Mt. Rose who is well into his 80's. He is slow but SMILING.....

.... I just saw a TV interview done at Sugarbush Vt., they spoke with a guy ( 86 yrs.young ) who said He can still do the Black diamond trails, but He does them slower now. ..... I developed some issues with my right leg over the summer, so I have some concerns about this years sking .... The BUSH opens Sat.... so I'll soon find out about my Skiing future - wish me luck ..... Mike ..............PS ..I just heard about the snow storm they are having in Buffalo NY ( near Niagra Falls ) ... predictions are for 3 to 6 FEET of Lake effect snow

...Well all you Ski People should be able to enjoy your slope times real some. National Weather News is saying this is a 'Big One'. So get your equipment ready. Never quite got the hang of the necessary Skills. Just to much 'down time' for me.

We received a new dusting of snow today. Currently 27°F and bone chilling for me. Snow.... nice to see but I don't want to be out in it.

High today only 29°F with some sun, low of 17°F.

...Welcome back from a cold weekend, currently 25°F and clear skies. Some very good College football and NFL games over the weekend. The wife let me enjoy a couple of the games Saturday and Sunday. My picks all failed me.

....Well another nice day today, currently 50°F. Just needed to get some extra food for the Thanksgiving Day meal. The wife said that 4 more people will be coming.
Always the more the merrier. So no big thing.

Last two days temps were 57 and 60. Add in the sunshine and blue sky, and it is very nice. There is a fall chill in that breeze though.

Did my 'Black Friday' shopping yesterday. Just had to get something for my Spyder. The wife said it was okay.
