    Default How do I post Pictures in a PM? Can I?

    I am able to posts pictures from my computer to most if not all the forums. But I am unable to post pictures from my computer in a PM. I am able to post a picture in a PM from a URL. I have no idea how to use a URL for my computer.

    {LATER UPDATE - NO You can't! Please Read On, it's discussed in the later posts... }

    Yes you can add pics to a PM (well, now you can, anyhow! Couldn't for a long time, but it's been fixed! )

    I've sent you a PM with a pic explaining in some detail seaweed, but for anyone else who'd like to know, you simply scroll down past the PM's 'Message' field to the 'Additional Options' field; select 'Upload Files'; choose your pic files; & 'Upload'. They'll be added to your PM as attachments. Please, don't add too many pics per Post or P- anything more than 5 will mean some recipients may not be able to even open the message, let alone read it! So if you want to be sure your intended recipient can read the PM and see the pics, 5 pics maximum per PM; if you need to send more, send another 5 in the next PM, and so on as necessary!

    If you have further difficulties or need a hand, you can always send me or any of the Mods here a PM, we'll certainly at least try to help!

    Hmmm....

    Thanks for the screen shots, that's really not gonna help you much, is it?!

    Anyhoo, I've sent you another PM & will dig a little further into this.... but just as a thoughty in the meantime, could you try replying to one of my PM's & selecting 'Go Advanced' instead of 'Submit Message' on the bottom of the Quick Reply field?!? Does that Advanced screen let you see Manage Attachments??

    After a fair bit of testing, it's apparent that the facility for members to send pics via PM does not work on the Forum.... So if you wish to send a pic to another member, you'll either need to share it on the public pages for all to see; or send it to them via private/personal emails, after exchanging email addresses via PM if necessary! Sorry, but that's all I can offer at this stage.

    I have been told by mod's that pics can only attached to regular posts NOT PMs due to possible porn.
