Whenever I have questions about how Spyderparts go together I will go the Fiche' ( from after-market parts) that shows how all the corresponding pieces fit together .... it has helped me in the past ..... good luck .... Mike

Not a video but instructions for installing lighting from Spyderpops site. One of the steps is removing the tail lights.

Here is a video for installing Saddlebag LED's which requires the removal of the rear lights. Disregard the section to remove the saddlebag inner panel.

I just checked my parts list in the manual. I have a 2011 but the rear tail lights are the same. I first remove the trim below the rear release latches. Open both side bags and rear trunk. There are 2 screw have to be removed from both sides. Then 4 screws around the rear trunk latch. Be careful on removing the left and right side fingers of the panel. After that panel is removed you have access to the light assemblies and this where you can also adjust the side latches. Bruce

    What Safecracker said.
Why? The tail and brake lights are LEDs. If you say what you are trying to do, we can get you there. Joe

Brake and tail are in the LED assembly. You don't get to those. The backup and turn are incandescent. You have to remove the rear panel, 8 screws, to get to them.
