I wonder how often accidents, where there is no obvious cause, are caused by the driver having a heart attack or some other medical condition. If it's later determined that's the case I haven't seen any follow up in such case.

The investigating agency will be informed by the Medical Examiner, that the deceased had a Heart Attack ( if that occurred ) .... they can also tell whether the person was alive at the time of the accident .... I was an LEO and a few of my investigations involved an ME's findings ..... Mike

Unfortunately there were at least three other motorcycle fatalities in Maryland/Eastern Shore and Delaware this past weekend during the Ocean City BikeFest/Delmarva Bike Week. As far as I know, this one wasn't related, and was the only one involving a Spyder. Prayers out to all the families and friends affected.

Yea, I saw the report of the guy that ran from the cops when they tried to stop him. The cops followed a no chase protocol, he kept running and went splat when he t-boned another vehicle in a intersection. Sad situation.
