Anyone else bending Keys??
2022 RTL LIMITED my first key was bent so I tried to straighten it and it broke.
Used my 2nd key 2 times and it’s starting to bend. Has anyone had this happen to them?

There's over 110,000 Spyders out there now, and while there's been a few reports of bending/breaking keys over the years, it's a tiny, tiny percentage!! So, either this issue is something new with the 2022's (haven't seen too many others - yet! ); there's something wrong with the working stuff behind your key/ign, making it difficult to turn (seen a few of them already! ); or you are doing something wrong (see post above!! )
I'd be looking at making sure any/all the cables behind the ignition (frunk & seat openers, fork/steering lock?) are suitably lubricated & adjusted properly - which should be a warranty fix; &/or watching very carefully to make sure there's nothing you're doing that could be stressing the key! But while you're at it, get your working key duplicated/cloned if you can - again, I'd expect that to be a warranty issue, since the originals haven't been able to do the necessary job without breaking!
Good Luck!

This EXACTLY why all the cables on my ignition switch have been removed ( many years ago ) and replaced by separate cables to release Seat and Frunk ..... good luck ... Mike

As Peter said, you've a warranty issue. Don't let the dealership screw you out of doing their job.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Mike, I would be interested in seeing a picture of your revised Frunk cable. I recall you mentioning this mod before, but I never thought to ask back then. TIA.

i have noticed on my 2022 rtl there is a fine line between turning on the ignition and the depress to unlock seat and frunk.
that fine line and the key won't turn.
what i do is insert key let go of it then turn to ignition on/run/start/launch whatever were calling these dayz

Sorry I don't have a PIC of that ..... however where I attached my release cable on the Latch Arm was based on what a fulcrum does. I put the cable at the very end of that Latch arm ..... A very, very small tug on the cable and the Latch opens. As a child a read about what a Fulcrum can accomplish .... the example given was , if you a long enough rod and used the Moon as the fulcrum point a man could move the earth from it's orbit ...... Yes I know this isn't actually possible however it would work ..... Mike
