an option is the replacement arm from noboot, but you can now buy a genuine BRP(same as you had with same problems) arm by itself.

Yeah - don't you love it when that happens. I was going 70mph when mine snapped.

The replacement is also available at https://www.canamspyderaccessories.com. Mine cracked and broke in July, had the part shipped next day and replaced it within a day of receiving it.

Meanwhile there should be a sparepart from BRP for this problem.
The BRP number ist 705013108 "WINDSHIELD LIFTING ARM REPAIR KIT".
But i dont know what parts and how many are included in this kit.
You can order it from your dealer or from several internet shops.

Yes there is ..... however it's the SAME piece of JUNK that the Spyder was delivered with when it was purchased ..... this makes NO sense to me ..... get the one from No-boot or Lamonster .....JMHO .... Mike

Another tidbit once you replace the arm...
Do not leave windshield in the lowest position. Raise it just a little bit. Riding on the bottom puts a strain on the unit. I followed that advice on my 2010, 2011, and 2014 RT's and had no windshield issues.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Well actually this is a myth .... I've reported on this many years ago ..... Before No Boot created His, I made one for myself .... I tested the Theory about " don't leave it ALL the way down " ...... So I put a piece of paper under the ARM and lowered it ALL the way down ..... the paper fell out, the arm was not touching it ..... The arm mechanism is designed to work the same way as an elevator .... when it's ALL the way down - it isn't resting on the ground either ..... Mike

I took a good look at our 2011 last fall after seeing a post warning about this potential on the older models. Sure enough....our "dog bone part" was beginning to crack. I ordered one from Pierre at.... https://www.canamspyderaccessories.c...dshield-black/ and it was under $200 vs. BRP suggesting a complete $600-$800, 3-arm part. I see that by this link, that they even make the "dog bone" in black now. Ours was silver, like the rest of the arm structure.
