Default 2022 F3S battery access - what about the 2 cables thru the frunk bucket?

The Operators Guide states that you should remove the front storage compartment bucket but says nothing about the two cables coming through the backside of the bucket which prevent the bucket from being lifted very far. What should I be doing?

Partially lift the bucket and pull the cables out through the hole.

Thank you and please pardon my ignorance but do you mean pull the cables out of the bucket or into the bucket? There doesn’t seem to be enough room to get a hand behind the bucket to pull the cables out of the bucket.

Push the cables out of the bucket. Once they are out the bucket will lift up.
