What is the Learning curve on BUDS like?
I'm thinking of getting a BUDS kit and license.
What is the learning curve like?
Is it helpful in chasing down electrical gremlins, like those posted on the Forum recently?

The learning curve is dependent on what you want to do. I don't think its helpful for electrical gremlins. I like BUDS more than BUDS2. But you need BUDS2 for 2017 and up. You should get a downloadable manual when you buy it. Mine came on a disc, so you will need a way to read a disc unless they have changed this.

Load it on your computer, hook it up, and turn it on. Not much of a learning curve. The software is very well defined and self explanatory. It allows you to take readings, perform a few setups, and actuate components for trouble shooting. Don't forget to read the instructions for a few details.
