Are Heated seats with sheepskin seat covers still effective?
Does anyone know if heated seats are still effective with sheepskin seat covers? I'm interested in putting on a sheepskin but still want to keep the seat heat going when it gets cold?

We have the Alaska leather sheepskin and the seat heat still works well.

I have had Alaskan Leather sheep skins on several bikes with both heated and non-heated seats. Because the skins naturally keep you warmer, you'll find the need for seat heat to be much less. When needed, your seat heat WILL radiate through the skin but you may need to crank it up a notch higher. Keep in mind that the sheep skins are easily and quickly removable when not wanted, like in heavy rain. I haven't found any negative reason for having a sheep skin..... Jim

I have 2021 RT Limited with heated seat with the Misty Mountain sheep skin for Lamonster. I get the full effect of the heated seat with the sheepskin.
