Default If you had seen a Ryker/Spyder when you were a kid?

There are some kids in my neighborhood that wave when they seem my Ryker. One even approached me while I had it out of the garage. So I thought, what if I was sitting in my garage back in 1978 and a Ryker rode by? I think it would have made a big impression on me. I did see a Lotus back then and I never forgot it. A Ryker is far more unique and cool than a Lotus IMO. I don't live far from my childhood home, so I rode my Ryker past the house in 2021. Too late in time but not in execution. Your thoughts?

I'm sure I would have hopped on my bicycle and tried to get a better look!

    Default Spyder Look

....I agree with you. If a Spyder or Ryker went by me I would want to see it up close. I remember when my uncle rode over on his Cushman Scooter in early 60s.
I checked it out real quick. He actually got permission from my Mother to give me a ride.

Oh Yeah, I started saving my money.
Ten years later I bought a used Honda 175.

I was riding through a Walmart parking lot one day and passed a women and her young son. He looked at the bike, then at his Mom and said "I want one of those when I grow up." I couldn't help smiling because it brought back memories when I was his age and said the same thing every time is saw one of these.....

I never considered how much things would change by the time I "grew up" or should I say got older....
