Any ideas on where to get a Clutch basket?
Spyder lovers, my 2010 Can Am Spyder RT has been at the dealership for about four months. It needs a clutch basket, but because BRP has been hacked they can't get the part to fit it. Hoping to have it back before summer ends, but losing hope. Have looked online to places that sells motorcycle parts, only keep getting the same answer - they don't carry that part anymore. Does anyone have any ideas? All ideas are welcome, if anyone does know where to get one, please email me at larrycurry870@yahoo.com

Do you know the part #? If so put BRP + the part number in the Google search box. If there's one anywhere Google will probably find it!

Consider finding an Aprillia dealer. Since the Aprillia sportbikes share the basic engine as an early Spyder, possibly it will interchange. Even better, they may have aftermarket billet baskets.

The earlier 998 twin was made by Rotax for Aprilia, as stated. It's likely Rotax used the same clutch basket on several different models, so you might cross reference the part numbers to see and verify.
