ISO "Old Style" 2011 iPod cable w/box

Greeting all,

I may be in need of part# 219400187 which is the old style audio cable.

Thanx to Motorcycle Dave I have one of the no box versions on its way but from going done the rabbit hole tonight it sounds like I need the cable w/the box. As the Intrernet is not cooperating I wanted to ask around.

Anyone have one or know where I could acquire one if I need that style?

I guess I do not understand, what is this box that you are looking for? Mine was still in the original package when I bought my 2012 and there was no box. I plugged it directly into the plug on the RTL and the older ipod I was using and we were good to go. If you are talking about the sena RM10 to bluetooth your radio to your helmet, that is a separate part and can come From Dave as well as the needed audio cable.

Was confused too, then saw (pic in link)! Some module on the cable unlike the cable on my ‘13.

Searching these and other forums the consensus is the 2011 and older need the cable with the box (which seems to be a voltage regulator of some type). I ordered one of the straight cables and crossing my fingers.

Just found out I need front tires and a rim... Off to another rabbit hole on tires.
