Why? You don’t have a smartphone? All smartphones have GPS built in. Save some $$$ and check out Genius Maps.

Smart phones have several drawbacks over gps in rural areas particularly.

Not sure how my WTB thread got to this point?

I have had our phones loose signal in several areas on rides, and we have lost directions on other occasions. We have yet to lose my wife's Garmin GPS signal.

I would like to end the off topic here.

I'm not sure if you saw this among the off-topic posts.

I did, and planned on replying to you when we got to our travel destination (have been loosing cell service all day).
Thank you for the offer, but the 590 or 595 would work better for me since she has a 590 on her Spyder.
