Default Just installed a 2022 RT Ltd ShowChrome Trailer Hitch.

Just installed a Show Chrome SC-41-264 on my 2022 RT Limited with no issues or problems. FYI.

That's great! So on yours they used an axle with a 5/8" diameter thru-hole?
    All the best,

    • Garmin XT (I would be lost without it)
Driving Lights (Very bright to improve my sight)
Floorboard Lights and Turn Signals (I like to be seen)
Passenger Armrests (So my wife doesn't fall off)
Trailer Hitch (So we can bring more stuff with us)
Chrome Wheels (Because the beautiful stock wheels just weren't good enough)
Front Fender Sequential Reflector Lights (I was wondering what to do with my paycheck)

I just looked at the Show Chrome hitch. I see why it works and the Can-Am hitch doesn't.
Show Chrome uses a smaller diameter rod (bolt) to go through the axle. The hole in the 2022 is smaller (a friend mounted his with 5/16" all-thread).
The Can-Am hitch uses a larger diameter bolt.
This might be a good solution for anyone with a '22 RT who doesn't mind using non Can-Am parts. Like me!

According to online parts fiche, the P/N are the same for 2020, 2021, and 2022 axles. From what I understand it is the 2022 Can Am Hitch Kit that comes with the wrong axle bolt due to a change in vendors. Forecast availability is NOV 2022. But 2020 and 2021 Can Am Hitch Kits will fit a 2022.

Yes and the Big Bike Parts Kit comes with 5/8" bushings you tape to the ends of the axle, (I used alien super tape which is all adhesive and it made the bushing placement very secure) and uses a M10x462 thru bolt that fits the left and right axle mounts. I have heard of 2022 Can Am Hitch Installations but substituted 2020 or 2021 Axle bolts, but none are available currently. The rear axles are all the same p/n 2020, 2021 and 2022. Good Luck everyone. I did MY RESEARCH, and posted my results for info, not to be second guessed . ( not you John.)
