Wife is getting more and more comfortable on the spyder. We have had temps in the mid to upper 90's, with heat index of up to 105-109. This past Saturday we had some decent weather with a forecast of around 90 and only a slight chance of rain. Wife and I did a 116 mile ride down to a couple of sweet spots with some nice sweeping roads. Grabbed breakfast in Siler City and back home. Trying to prep her a little more for the mountain trip the middle of this month.

Separate rides are the way to go. And....after the 100's....the 90's seem a bit cooler. Same situation here. We went riding today also.
Yep, my wife loves it when people come up and compliment her for riding her own bike. I think she likes the attention better than anything. Our 4 day mountain trip for next month has been reduced to 3 days, as she wants to use the 4th day to recoupe from vacation. Slight change of plan, but we will make it work. Going to ride up to Boone on the 1st day. Then ride the BRP down to Cherokee on the 2nd day. Then take a scenic route home on the 3rd day. Going to have to save the Cherohola Skyway and Fontana Dam part of the trip for the spyder rally in October.

Cheri and I each ride our own and when we stop for gas it usually takes about 25 minutes cause people come over and ask her about her spyder and glad to see her riding her own. Cheri had a 2010 RT and now rides a 2017 F3L and loves it.
