    Back then early in the Star Trek history .... there was a huge controversy about Her and Capt. kissing ..... no one would blink today .... sorry to hear of Her passing .... RIP .... prayers to the family .... Mike

    So much about what she accomplished feels mundane today; it was a huge deal to simply have somebody black on the bridge. The fact that what had been extraordinary has become to be expected is part of her legacy.
